Christmas is almost here!

We have so many fragrances for this holiday season: Cranberry Chestnut, Fresh Holly, Frosted Sugar Plum, Mistletoe, Peppermint Frost, Snow Lily, Sugar Pear  Winterberry, Winterfield and Winter Garden, Yum!

Over the years I have taken in many different aromas. Each aroma brings back memories from my past.  Sweet memories of an apple pie baking in my mom's kitchen, or a time when I was a little girl at Christmas sitting on the top step taking in the holly and the pine from down stairs before I could open my gifts.  Oh the excitement!  The colors, the glitter, the smiles, and the fragrance, what good memories!  That is why I love the fragrance from Jolie Maison Shop they are perfect addition to your guest bath.  What a wonderful way to welcome your company and give them something to remember the wonderful time they had with you!  Looking for some great stocking stuffers?  Our soaps are perfect!  Try adding a couple of Peppermint Frost or Fresh Holly mini soaps in their stockings.  Not only are they pretty, but they smell good too!

Setting a table for Christmas can sometimes be a challenge.   Generally people think of buying a pretty poinsettia or using Christmas balls and pine needles to make an arrangement for their tables.  What people often don't think of is to use things around the house that they already have.  Taking a plate or bowl and using a mixture of beautiful Christmas soaps and ornaments can be a simple way to add some Christmas cheer to your table as a center piece. Another idea is to take that same plate or bowl and put it on top of a vase or pedestal. By combining these two pieces, it creates an easy and versatile decoration that would look great on any table.  An added bonus is that your guests can take a mini soap home as a favor after your Holiday party! Buying mini soaps in bulk is a good way of saving for a little something to give away this holiday season.

Each of our mini's come in a 12 pack  for only $19.00.  What a great way to share wonderful memories this Christmas!

Spiced Pumpkin Party

As the weather begins to cool down and boots begin to replace flip flops, it seems everyone is craving all things Fall.  Especially me.  Who doesn’t love the feel crisp fall air and the sight of warm, orange-colored pumpkins and festive yellow and purple mums on every front porch?
Growing up, my family would make homemade spiced apple cider and hold an annual pumpkin carving contest.  You wouldn’t believe the competativeness that a pumpkin carving contest can bring between family members!  These are the fond memories that make the fall such an exciting time of year for my entire family.

Now, after a fly by of a summer….the autumn is here again. For our family that means the kick off of what will be many birthday celebrations over the next few months.  The first birthday up is my sister who will be celebrating her 30th this  year.  This birthday girl has made it no secret that her favorite way to get in the fall season is to sip on a Spiced pumpkin latte (she is obsessed with anything spiced pumpkin) and search for her perfect halloween pumpkin from the local pumpkin patch.   So for her celebration we are keeping it casual and low key, but surrounding her with everything that she loves about the fall season.
For the menu, we are serving up spicy buffalo wings with fresh parmesan cheese and minced roasted garlic, blue cheese and bacon coleslaw, hand cut seasoned oven fries and grandma’s cast iron skillet cornbread.  For dessert we are bringing in her love of pumpkin and preparing a home made spiced pumkin swirl cheesecake with a ginger snap crust and a sweet caramel sauce drizzle.  As for the beverages we are making delicious spiced pumpkin martinis made with Pinnacle Whipped Cream Vodka and a homemade Creamy Spiced Pumpkin drink mix (recipe below).
For one of her gifts we are giving her a luxury Spiced Pumpkin spa gift set.  The set includes a scented 16 fl oz liquid hand soap and Shea Butter lotion that she can keep by the kitchen or bathroom sink.  It also includes a large french milled soap block and a small travel size bar for the shower or bath.  The set comes in a beautiful classic gift box  so we didn’t  have to worry with the wrapping.  She is sure to love these products!

We didn’t want to leave the guests out of all the fall fun …so we decided to decorate the tables with adorable fluffy owls, black crows and small pumpkins that we later used in a pumpkin carving contest.  For favors we set up bowls with miniature spiced pumpkin favor soaps.  This was an inexpensive way to decorate and provide  a memorable gift for everyone who attended.  The guests were so excited when they were told they could take the soaps home!
This party was the perfect way to get into the fall spirit and celebrate with everyone we love.  The birthday girl said she felt so special because we paid attention to all the little details and brought in all of the spiced pumpkin things that she loves.  This was surely an easy way to create more beautiful memories of a season that we already love so much.

Fall Soap Favors

We're using our fall soaps in so many different ways this year.  We have a "Fall In Love" joint wedding shower and our harvest apple soaps are perfect for the occasion because both men and women will appreciate the gift.  The theme is fall in love and our favors have been customized with "From Our Shower to Yours".  We kept our favor dish simple and clean using only the Harvest Apple soap which comes in a beautiful autumn colors leaf print which coordinated perfectly with our decor and kept cost down because we bought the soap favors in bulk making it a cheap favor option.

We're throwing a fall cook-out where we'll be grilling chicken sausage and apples, making sweet potato soup, spicing up some cider and decorating in all the fall colors.  Our centerpiece on the table will be a planter of mums, a small pumpkin and a collection of our fall soap favors.  The colors and fragrances of these fall favor soaps double as a grand fall centerpiece and gifts for guests.  Easy setup, easier cleanup!

This has to be my favorite gift this fall.  Only $26 this autumn favor soap sampler is an inexpensive host gift for Halloween or Thanksgiving.  The soaps are just the right size to be able to try all of them during the fall season!
